Beautiful side table, freshly refinished in white chalk paint. I gave this piece a crackled, weathered appearance (Elmer's glue technique!)...allowing the dark undertones to pop through. I applied an undercoat of cast iron black over the dark stained wood, topped with white chalk paint with a crackled finish. I applied a light finish in dark wax here and there...very subtly... then clear wax, giving it a warm, time worn appearance. I love the metal plates and rivets!

Beautiful, coastal inspired side table, freshly refinished in a chalk paint mix to resemble seafoam blue/green. I gave this piece a crackled, saltwash finish with soft white and mustard undertones. A beautiful old weather worn appearance with textured layers. The top is treated to a clearcoat finish then I applied a light finish in dark wax here and there...very subtly... then clear wax, giving it a warm, timeworn appearance.

Just put on the final touches of antique wax, this table is perfect for the lover of the shabby chic and antiqued decor! I have painted this dark stained table in an undercoat of white then a top coat of sage green chalk paint. The table top is finished in white chalk paint. I have distressed the piece a little more heavily than normal for a nice, chippy finish. the top is much less distressed...just along the edges. Finished in clear wax then topped off with dark

One of my favorite pieces to paint! This is the second one that I have been lucky enough to obtain. I love the style of these tables with their riveted tops and hammered metal brackets on the sides. I have stripped & restained the top in a coat of provincial stain then added a "faded" handpainted vintage postage graphic. Finished in protective coats of clear varnish. The sides and legs are finished in layered chalk paint colors of french grey, antique white and white...distressed & waxed.

This charming, solid wood side table was purchased newly built and I have given it a wonderful, aged Modern Masters treatment with a rust and bronze faux finish and gorgeous hues of green and blue patina running through...leaving the appearance of aged metal! The top and sides have been finished in this technique then I chalk painted the legs in warm grey deepened with dark wax. The top and sides are treated to a clear coat sealer then the entire piece was finished in coats of clear wax.

Remember the brown, wood tables that Grandma had? Well, this is one of them...underneath anyway. I used a mixture of my own duck egg blue chalk paint with white trim and a pretty damask stencil on the top. Distressed to allow the gorgeous deep brown of the table to show through. Waxed and stained to give it a nice time worn finish. Gotta love that chalkpaint!

Fresh new coats of barnwood red chalk paint with undertones of chocolate brown and deep turquoise peeking through. The top is my favorite as I have painted it with wisps of various off white, grey, brown and white shades to mimic weathered barn wood. Sanded and distressed to add a little more character and given a good rub down with dark stain wax.
