Help Give Hope is a not-for-profit, 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. Their mission is to assist needy families, in particular children, in southwest Missouri. Designed initially to provide help during the holiday season, Help Give Hope now offers year-round assistance to children in need.
Home for Life Cat Sanctuary (HFLCS) is a non-profit organization that works closely with the Buffalo City Pound as a No-Kill facility for dogs and cats. HFLCS assists the community by offering spay and neuter assistance programs in order to regulate the local pet population. By organizing a network of foster homes for adoptable animals, HFLCS finds homes for 700 strays a year on average. This shelter provides a home as well as medical care for unadoptable pets.
