This 50 room gothic mansion with original Victorian features was listed for sale, including the resident ghost of a lady in white. They listed other odd happenings here such as doors and windows that open and close on their own, visitors report seeing dark shadowy figures, and the Lady in White roams the halls.

This old mansion on the National Register of Historic Places is just off Franklin Rd (US31) on Caldwell Lane. On the property is a small cave and a tree supposedly carved by a civil war soldier. (the battle lines came through this area) Many claim that this house is haunted. One example: A story from about 15-20 years ago is that the owner at the time was playing her piano in the house when a lamp was knocked over by an invisible spirit.
