[Sunday Fun] 8 Things You Gave Up During Summer Because Of Horse Shows With now weeks in between the last and the next two shows I woke up today and though to myself: wow no horse show no stress no drama. Additionally our best equipment manager is on a business trip across the pond - meaning: plenty of time! Time that we would normally have when not going to shows all summer long while normal people do fun stuff. Here is a list that normal people could do during summer:1. Sleeping in Yes…

Measures 5 1/8 tall and a 2 1/8 base. These tumblers have Victorian scenes, one on each side. Horse drawn carriages with a couple driving the teams. Nice 10 ounce tumblers perfect for cocktails. Or a nice breakfast bunch juice cocktail. I have 2 listings of these glasses. For a total of 12 tumblers. Let me know by message, if you want all 12 so I can combine shipping for exact cost of shipping both sets. https://www.etsy.com/listing/496970724/turquoise-pr...

If there's anything for which 'tis the season, 'tis the season for drinking in unusual places. In a one-horse open sleigh? Check. At your SO's office party? Yup. 'Tis also, unfortunately, the season for badly made drinks, poorly prepared punches, and lukewarm beer. What to do? Carry your own cocktail.

Charcoal Cocktails: Thanks to its purported detoxification properties, activated charcoal has become a dark-horse ingredient contender in the beverage industry. Because it tastes neutral, the potent powder has been added to lemonade, green juices, protein shakes, and, ironically, cocktails. For example, Pouring Ribbons in New York’s East Village serves up The Heart of Darkness ($15) with tequila, lime, mezcal, raspberry, and activated charcoal.

Have a Kentucky Derby Party in May! Setup: Decorate for an outside picnic with red-and-white checkered tablecloths, give each table the name of a prized thoroughbred, and encourage women to wear fun hats. Put the TV or radio on a horse race and pass out faux betting sheets. The losers have to do the dishes! Nibbles: For cocktail party food, dish out barbecue chicken fingers, tea sandwiches, and ramekins of mac and cheese. Specialty drinks: Mint juleps, of course!
