Marisol (also called Pepa Flores, real name: Josefa Flores González, born: February 4, 1948, Málaga, Spain) is a Spanish singer and actress who was popular during the 1960s. Director Luis Lucia Mingarro propelled her to national stardom in the film trilogy Un rayo de luz , Ha llegado un ángel and Tómbola. The films featured Marisol singing one of her best-known songs, "La vida es una Tómbola". She appeared in the The Ed Sullivan Show in 1961. Marisol was a child star during the 1960s.
