Grasses Border in September

This is the same bed looking west, from the opposite end. The planting is at its peak in September, when the wind rustles the foliage and the mature flowerheads bow and sway. Once late November comes, we cut the grasses to the ground. It's one less job to do in the spring, and keeps the bed looking neat.
