Explore Wine Of Lebanon, Champagne and more!

Michael Karam, acclaimed journalist, ambassador for Lebanese wine and author of  Wines of Lebanon remembers, Serge Hochar, the charismatic and buccaneering owner of Lebanon’s Château Musar, who died at the age of 74, while on holiday with his family in Mexico over the new year.

The country of Lebanon produces about 7 million bottles of a wine a year. Lebanese winemakers mostly prefer the French varietals for whites and reds blends. The Bekaa Valley is Lebanon’s most important wine region. I've only had one bottle of wine produced in Lebanon...it was expensive but AMAZING!
