Well he must've thought I was bad ass who didn't need sleep lol! Epilepsy and diabetes does not permit sleep. I often tell parents of newly diagnosed children that while the child grows, the disease is much like an infant. It keeps you up late at night, sometimes it keeps you worried when you can't get the number right and when it says pay attention you better pay attention! It's literally a war with death every day. All you can do is thank God for every day he blesses your child with.
They never care how hard you tried. They expect perfect everything. They want you to have non diabetic a1cs and perfect numbers 24/7. They just sit there and point out every single thing you've done wrong and never encourage you or point out the good.
