"That was amazing!" said my nine year old as she finished eating her salad from our "Make your own salad night." Everyone started with a bowl of lettuce and then we passed around each of the optional toppings. The girls were encouraged to try a couple of toppings that they don't normally put on their salads and they were encouraged to put on atleast one protein topping. Delicious! We will definitely do this again soon.
Personal sized chili and cornbread in a jar. I baked the cornbread right on top of the chili in the Mason jar. After they cooked, I put the lids on and stored them in the fridge.
