Mary Boleyn (c. 1499-1543) is believed to be the eldest daughter of Thomas Boleyn and Lady Elizabeth Howard, and the elder sister of Anne Boleyn, Queen Consort of Henry VIII. She is also thought to have been Henry's mistress, and allegedly bore him two children. She married Henry Carey. This portrait hangs in Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh Scotland.

Jane Seymour (c. 1508-1537) was Queen of England as the third wife of King Henry VIII, succeeding Anne Boleyn as queen consort following the latter's execution in May 1536. She died of postnatal complications less than two weeks after the birth of her only child, a son who reigned as Edward VI. She was the only one of Henry's wives to receive a queen's funeral, and his only consort to be buried beside him.
