Mario Tsai of ZZ Design Studio has created a concept for a shelving unit named Mountains, that has been inspired by Chinese landscape paintings.

Designer Jessica Banks, the creator of RockPaperRobot, said she thinks about sustainability in systemic terms. Her transforming tables and chars fold flat, not only making them useful in tiny living spaces, but also allowing them to be packed efficiently for shipping. She also exhibited rolling tables that can be extended to any desired length, or can be stored entirely flat against the wall, adapting to the user’s needs.
