No single type of waffle is identified as a 'Belgian Waffle' within Belgium itself, where there are a number of different varieties, including the Brussels waffle, the Liège waffle and the #stroopwafel.

Donn's Waffles - Hands down Hubby and my favorite waffles! I saw this in a magazine a few years ago and now they are the only waffles we ever make. They are light, cloud-like, and a little crispy. I add 1tsp of orange extract to the batter and we eat them plain.
