Simple pic, with the hint of sunrise offering that promise of a new day, the welcome end to a long night on the sand. I like the shadows and ripples in the sand too.

Footprints are another thing that I'm toying with using in the pic...again, not sure if it will clutter the shot. I had an idea that the footprints could be musical notes instead of feet...but I suspect that's crossing the Corny County line, and no-one wants to do that. Still, this is the place to bring all ideas up, among friends who will give me a pat and say "No, Ben."

Dana Point, CA. just breathe...

Strand Beach Dana Point At Sunset Canvas Print / Canvas Art by Cliff Wassmann

Looove the colours. The simple purity of the sand, the looming headland and a lowering sky was a very familiar tableau. Crucially, the foreground allows space to put the gear. This would be top three closest to my vision.

This is quite different to the majority, but I love the balance of sand, sea and sky - there's a lot of room on the sand to put the items...and how nice is that sand texture?
