#latergram of my late lunch on Friday and preparing lunch for work on Saturday. I made some soba noodle salad with an asian dressing and rolled it up in nori sheets with some tofu, grated carrot, sliced cucumber and avocado. With the leftovers I just made a deconstructed version for a salad and shredded a nori sheet on top! So damn delicious! If you would like the recipe for the dressing I can post it below! Otherwise it's on an older post when I first came up with it #Padgram
General Tso's.....Tofu! cut back the sugar to 1/3 cup or less and the ginger to 1 TBsp. Use fresh OJ instead of water and grate some of the peel into the sauce. Added 8-10 drops sirracha. Thicken up with some cornstarch. For 1 small block tofu, 1/2 the recipe. this would be great on chicken too!
Honey-ginger tofu: 350 g tofu, 2 T soy sauce, 1 T honey, 2 tsp grated ginger, 1 tsp oil. Marinate tofu in soy, honey, ginger and oil 15 min. Cook until golden, 2 to 3 min per side, over medium heat in skillet. Drizzle with reserved marinade.
Baked Tofu Bites Recipe: Tried it, flavor was fine but the tofu didn't get as crisp and chewy as I like it. I did only do half the amount of liquid smoke. My hubby and I agree that frying after marinating would be much better.
Stir-Fried Tofu with Scallions, Garlic, Ginger, and Soy Sauce (I think this would be a great base recipe to add a ton of veggies to! Like broccoli, snow peas, mushrooms, water chestnuts, carrots, onions, bamboo shoots, baby corn, etc)
Grilled Tofu Recipes1 lb of firm tofu (Chinese Style is best for this kind of recipe) 2 tbsp GF soy sauce (preferably San-J Low Sodium Tamari) 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup 1 Tbsp rice vinegar 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil (we like a Japanese brand) 2 pressed cloves of garlic
