Sometimes we gotta roll up our sleeves to make a lasting impression, and the best part is that amazing feeling that fills your heart once you start to help. ~Anthony "Joe the Barber" Cymerys is an 82 year old barber for the past 25 years, has spent every Wednesday giving haircuts to the homeless. His services are not free though, as he charges one hug per haircut.
Anthony Cymerys is a barber. He's 82 years old. Every wednesday, he brings his chair, his clippers and a car battery to power the clippers to a local park in Hartford. He then gives haircuts to the homeless. He doesn't charge them a dime. All they have to do is give him a hug.
