Clark Gilbert, BYU-Idaho’s new university president, previously served as an associate academic vice president at the university and oversaw online learning initiatives. In 2009, he accepted the position as CEO over Deseret Digital Media. During the twilight of his time in Rexburg, Gilbert worked closely with J.D. Griffith, overseeing Pathway’s birth into what we know today. #BYUI #BYUIPathway #LDS

Pathway students might ask themselves why it matters that BYU-Idaho has a new president. During his time at the university, President Kim B. Clark touched the lives of not only students on campus, but also students all around the world. Pathway was instituted under President Clark’s direction and vision. It was in November 2008 that a small committee was formed to explore the idea of extending the BYU-Idaho reach through online education. #BYUI #BYUIPathway #LDS

BYU-Idaho has recently experienced a transition of presidents. See what both have done for Pathway.

“It is not who we are today that will mark us forever, but rather in what, and who, we will become. May we, individually and collectively, continue to strive to be a peculiar people — who value education, seek to serve others, and, above all, embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives.” – Gene Hayes, Pathway International Director #Potential #BYUI #BYUIPathway

We were taught about mentors by Michael M. Packer, President of the Rexburg, ID Married Student 3rd Stake at devotional on Janurary 14, 2013.
