It is strong, resilient, and iridescent. Since Mother of pearl is made by nature, each pair is unique; the color of this batch of mother of pearl earrings is bright white on one side of each earring, and an antique golden on the other side. The unique organic beauty of each pair of earrings is dazzling. All pairs are matched to nicely mirror one another on the ears. The best technique for opening and closing the earrings is to gently unlatch the ear-wire, and push the end of the wire a few millimeters to the side (rather than lifting the wire up and away from the earring), just enough to slip through the ear piercing. Take a clear silicone backing (included with the order) and slide it up the ear-wire until it rests against the back of the ear-lobe. Then, secure the end of the ear wire into the closure. ★ Care: Buff the brass bezel with a jewelry polishing cloth to keep these earrings shining!
