This worksheet helps students learn about the 3 branches of government. They'll have to research about each branch on their own and create a summary of the main points they learned. They can also tape this into their social studies notebooks so they can flip back and revisit the important facts.
This project allows students to group up and creatively create a country from scratch while incorporating academic information learned during the year. There are 15 items the students must address to varying degrees of depth (all very detailed in the handout), including: --choosing a type of government and explaining why--the impact of landforms on daily life and trade--a citizens' rights/privileges/expectations--the economy--holidays, and more!!!
