Meg Callahan 'flossy' An exploration of inherent material properties: waxed dental floss is wrapped around a pre-existing mold and then heated so that the wax melds together allowing the floss to hold structure without any added adhesive. The linear quality creates a delicate yet chaotic surface and presents a transparent quality to a solid form, creating an object that is useful as well as useless.
