One of the most scenic drives anywhere! The Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. This is facing south toward the Acadian village of Cheticamp.

These are the Cape Breton Highlands. I took this picture from a look-off on MacKenzie Mountain on the Cabot Trail.

This is the Cheticamp Information Centre which is at the entrance to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. You can find this entrance just north of the Acadian village of Cheticamp (on the north western side of Cape Breton Island). This park is a real treasure!!

Icefields Parkway, Alberta - The Icefields Parkway (Hwy. 93 through Banff and Jasper national parks, Alberta) parallels the Continental Divide along the BC/Alberta boundary, through the Rockies. This scenic drive takes you through the Rocky Mountains, past lakes and glaciers. The northern portion of the Icefields Parkway is like stepping back into the ice age.
