Hope you are keeping well. It has been chilly even in California. This Victorian couple figurine was made by Maruyama China, Seto City, Japan. Maruyama had been exporting bisque dolls and other porcelain goods since 1920s. This Occupied Japan couple figurine, though small 3 1/2". is well-made.
Occupied Japan Collectors Small Victorian couple figurines 4" high. They do not have a maker's mark, but I found out they were made by Chubu China, Nagoya. I found out about them when I visited the company several years ago. Chubu China was originally specialized in miniatures and did not make many figurines. Shoko Tanaka Collection
