Lael is a simple textured cowl worked in the round that looks great on either side. The stitch pattern creates a thick squishy fabric. Knit in a bulky weight yarn, it’s ready to wear in no time. Video by VeryPink Knits demonstrating K1 Below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ge9blEYNxRw
I followed this through and found a wonderfully simple, easy to remember pattern. Then, a beautiful handpainted lace weight yarn from Scotland I hadn't seen (Old Maiden Aunt from memory- lace to worsted). I'll both knit the wrap & be buying the beautiful yarn. Awesome find!

with no pattern. Just find the stitch That looks great from both sides you love and make it like a table runner. Measure your arm at its widest width and add the amount of give you like and thats your width.Look at how its wrapped on the lion brand pattern to figure your length. If you want the cowl to drape like the above pic the Lion brand pattern is probably about 12 " to short. a 3x would be about 19" by 140"
...t a lot! Both sides are pretty. Gifted away my first one of these and wanted one for myself. I cast on 90 with smaller needles (17s rather than 19s) and managed to finish with one skein this time. Yeah!
