7. May vertelde altijd toen ze nog klein waren dat ze vleugels had maar Laurel mocht ze niet zien want dan gingen ze verdwijnen. Laurel wou ze altijd graag zien maar wou niet dat May geen vleugels meer zou hebben. Juist voor dat May van de brug viel zei ze: " Zie je ze? Zie je mijn vleugels?" Voor Laurel is het nooit duidelijk geworden of May expres van de brug is gevallen.
