Wunderkind director Josh Trank released his first film, the acclaimed indie sci-fi Chronicle, aged 27. His follow-up, Fantastic Four, is one of the worst-regarded films of this millennium and was plagued by stories of on-set rifts, temper tantrums and actors in tears. Five years and a lot of soul-searching later, Trank has hatched his return with biopic Capone, starring Tom Hardy.
