From the Archives: The Truth about the Big Hair of the 1770s: Part One (Two Nerdy History Girls)

Hope Strelkina - a professional artist, member of Russian Union of Artists. Born in 1960 in the village of Fedoskino, (40 kilometers north of Moscow) graduated from Fedoskino school of miniature painting. She worked at the factory Fedoskino lacquer miniature. Her works are in Fedoskino factory museum, as well as in private collections in England, France and America. In 1997 Hope's work was featured as "angels playing music" by U.S. company Bradford Exchange.
