Sociology Professor Robert Bulman received a shout-out from documentary filmmaker Robert Phillips in an interview with North Carolina's INDY Week about the in-progress film "Teacher of the Year." Phillips referenced the SMC professor because of Bulman's scholarship in his book Hollywood Goes To High School (a new edition of the book releases next month). INDY Week is a progressive independent news weekly covering North Carolina's urban communities in Wake, Durham and Orange county

This film has one of the best soundtracks of any movie I've ever watched. Erroll Morris is an interview/storyline genius. Such simplistic use of archival footage in truly stunning combinations. As a history buff, I love it!
