Can we talk about this? The Doctor doesn't have a home, he's all alone in the universe. But with River he feels safe. River is his home. Because 'home' isn't always a roof and four walls. Home is where your family is, where your heart lies. Home is where you belong. And the Doctor belongs with River, because not only is she his wife, she's his companion, the daughter of his best friends, and his true love. He trusts her completely and loves her more than anyone. She's him home. And he is…

So glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. No companion learned so much with The Doctor, discovered so much self-worth, came so into their own as Donna. There was no one person the Doctor helped change for the better more than Donna. To know that she still struggles to get it all back, and how it hurt Ten not to be able to do it, makes it even worse.

My mind is officially blown…

The "Spock is a descendant of Sherlock Holmes" theory: There is a theory that Holmes was actually a lost Vulcan. Instead, the Wold Newton theory holds that Amanda is from the Wold Newton line (possibly related to Dick Greyson) and thus related to Holmes.
