4 bunk beds in one room. It could work, as long as the paneling for the top beds swung out somehow so the beds could be made more easily...judging by how many kids we're planning on having, this may come in handy.

proof that anyone can do paneling. If I can you can. Work the plan out before hand. Mark on the wall. I used three different sized planks to make it look more authentic. Got the store to cut the MDF into the sized strips ready for me to cut to size and then used a nail gun to fix to the wall. Use lots of filler to close in any gaps before painting. High-quality paint - Farrow & Ball strong white eggshell on the bottom and Mylands Messel green matt emulsion on top. Took about a week!

Advice needed: 1940's bathroom remodel Check out the full project We bought our 1940's house last year and we are going to start on the bathroom remodel. We are DIY'ing it with the help of my father in law. My question is what is the current wall material? It's starting to crack and warp from the moisture. It isn't drywall or plaster and lath. It looks like the acrylic panel that is under the surround stops and whatever this material is starts. We peeked behind it and there is literally…

Baillie Scott brought a new approach to the design of the house. He dismissed the victorian plan in favour of a modern open plan design, using space and light to form the large, yet comfortable and adaptable living spaces. Baillie Scott also designed every detail within the house. His use of traditional craft skills and simple enduring local materials is evident in the intricate carved oak panelling, stained glass, decorative plaster work, metalwork and fabric designs.

One couple reimagined the house, which originally served as the home of a cattle ranch foreman, by opening up the cramped floor plan and installing creamy white paneling.
