Antique Georgian Machin factory tea cup and saucer

A cup and saucer made at the Machin factory in Staffordshire with the pattern number 175 on the underside of the cup. This was made c.1805 and has a bute shaped handle which tells when the item was made. It is in excellent condition with no damage but the gilding is slightly rubbed on the inside of the saucer and the cup is stained around the bottom. There is also a tiny area that has missed the glaze when in production but this does not in any way detract from the cup for display purposes…
