Product Details
Looking for a way to practice multiplying whole numbers with error analysis? Looking to have students apply that skill to a real life scenario? Then look no further than this Starbucks inspired coffee themed activity! In this activity students will look at three receipts from owning a coffee shop and use the work box to correct the error. In addition, students will write about how they would handle the situation if they were the owners of the coffee shop. This product includes three pages of error analysis sheets. The first page has students ordering coffee beans for their shop and they vendor didn't charge you the correct amount. On the second page, students are charging for a large recurring coffee order and they over charge for the order. In the final activity, students are ordering ceramic products for their coffee shop and the vendor didn't charge them enough. These activities are great for starting conversations with students about business topics such as ethics and connecting it to situations they may be experiencing like honesty and conflict. This is the 4th activity in my coffee shop themed Multiplying Whole Numbers Unit.
