Faux Cloisonne Pin with roped border

Finished polymer clay faux cloisonne pin using Kato Clay. The openings were filled with layers of Kato liquid clay, baked, cleared and repeated until the cells were full. A half round border was added using liquid clay to hold in place. Dents for the faux gold ropes were made. The rounded areas were dusted with Pearl Ex powders. The dents were brushed with more liquid Kato. Gold ropes were extruded using the tiniest opening. Ropes were pressed into place, dusted with Luminarte gold mica…
