Fragrance Free, Dye Free, Plastic Free, Cloth Diaper Safe, Sensitive Skin This laundry detergent was originally created for my household. I was looking for a product that was cost-friendly, eco-friendly, sensitive enough for fragile newborn skin, and something that actually worked, and let me tell you, IT WORKS! This mixture of ingredients not only fights stains and odors, but naturally brightens and softens clothes. You heard that right! You no longer need to buy harsh, expensive, plastic, fabric softener! We use 100% cotton cloth diapers for our little one. We do not soak or pretreat our diapers, as that clogs the cotton fibers, making them less absorbent, but it also is not necessary with this laundry powder. For reference, we use 2 tablespoons for a single load of dirty (Number 1 and Number 2's included) diapers. Therefore, you can estimate using 1 tablespoon for a normal load of laundry. The large bag of laundry detergent contains 9.5 cups of ingredients. Using 1-2 tablespoons of detergent per load, this bag will provide you a minimum of 76 loads. The small bag contains 4.75 cups of ingredients, providing you with a minimum of 38 loads.
