The UV Resin gives that Wow shine and make these dishes water resistant, not water proof. 🐚 Scallop shells measure approximately 3.5" - 4", Oyster Shells measure 3.5" - 4". However, due to their unique nature some shells are slightly larger. Shape and size vary, no two shells are exactly alike. 🐚 Back of the scallop shells are finished in wisps of gold or silver leaf. The oyster shell is left unfinished in their natural state to show the beauty of these oyster shells. All dishes are hand-painted with gold leaf or silver leaf on trim to accent them. 🦪 Jewelry not included. Process & Description : ✴.*'.*★ 𝓣𝓱𝓮 "𝓢𝓮𝓪" 𝓒𝓸𝓵𝓵𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 ★*.'*.✴ After I have applied a layer of white paint, I then mix the white pearl mica powder with UV Resin and add the metallic paint to color. These are hand painted on the shells in a few layers to give that Wow Look!! We then carefully gild the edges with gold or silver leaf that brings out the beauty of the shell. ❤️With using the UV Resin gives a luster of shine you can't get with gloss sealants or lacquer sealants. It has a look and feel of glass / porcelain.
