Did you know that Australia is host to the oldest rainforest on the planet? The Daintree Rainforest is a tropical wonderland north of Mossman, Queensland, on the coast, north of Cairns. It is estimated to be over one hundred and thirty-five million years old and is the largest continuous area of tropical rainforest on the Australian mainland (around 1200 square kms).
