Shiva Puja is conducted on the pious occasion of Maha Shivaratri. It falls on Trayodashi or Chaturdashi of Phalgun month as per Bikram Samvat. Temples are flocked with the pilgrims. After getting purified, they visit temple with the offerings. They worship by circumambulating his idol, anointing with sandalwood paste and lighting lamp & incense sticks.
