Expect a little bit of shock to the plant until those roots are established. And, don’t be surprised if it’s a few months before you see any new leaves form. They’ll start at the end of your original string, then eventually they’ll grow from the other leaves as well. I stumbled upon this one and thought the seashells and seashell hanger were a cute combo! Plus my string of turtles I’ve been propagating seemed like it would be a match made in heaven. Typically, terracotta pots always have drainage holes, so I was surprised that this didn’t have it. It was ALMOST perfect! Luckily, a drainage hole is easy to make with the right drill bit. If you’ve struggled with string of plants, or succulent plants in general, a shallow terracotta pot like this will be your best friend!
