Outdoor Playground Snake Sculpture

The making of our rainbow serpent. This snake is designed to be walked on, played on and used as seating for an outdoor classroom. It is in front of a newly planted bush tucker garden and will form a part of our history program.

Concrete supported with a spine of bright bar tied to rio and chicken wire.

Different shapes were pushed into wet concrete to add texture and interest.

30 days after pour, concrete was bondcreated to seal.  24 hours later concrete outdoor paint was used to give a base colour.  Face added.
