These colours !!’ Have your colour preferences changed over time ? I never used to be much of a pink person but now I find myself adding it all over the place. (I can’t see myself ever swinging to purple though…)

I am so sorry ( and so sick) friends. I will not be at the sit & aew tomorrow but it will still be a great day with lots of fun folks and show and tell. @focusonquilts and I will cook up another date and will spam you silly when we do.

Yeah, nah. So, a hat is perfectly doable BUT the problem arises with the fact that I have made velvet, cotton, felt and minky versions of the monkey. The size of the monkeys varies too much to make a universally fitting hat ( that still looks good). Everything is a compromise, so I am keeping the versatility of the fabric options and losing the hat. The hat will reincarnated later on for someone else no doubt. #archiemonkey

Had a bit of a monkey-induced existential angst today but we are back on track. I was stressing about his coat covering his lovely pants and how I could make the cover work. Turns out we just had to channel a bit of catwalk flair. (I also tried a two monkey scenario , one in pants, one in coat but the pantless one in the coat looked like a primate flasher ).

I have been invited to have a chat at the Essendon Quilters in Moonee ponds. Anyone can come along and join in. I’ll be chatting about toys and bringing along some bits n bibs for a little pop up shop. I think it costs $10 to come along. It’s sure to be loads of fun with like-minded crafty folks.
