Janelle Lowe, ‘Yhonnie & Indiana’. After completing the RMIT Diploma of Photo Imaging, Janelle Low went on to become the recipient of the 2013 National Photographic Portrait Prize. Just 22 at the time, she was the youngest winner and only the second woman to win the prize, considered the photographic equivalent of winning the Archibald Prize for portraiture.

Emma Phillips, RMIT Photography TAFE student. Emma Phillips, a graduate of the RMIT TAFE program, was selected as a finalist both in the national 2009 Moran Prize and in the Australian Creative’s White Hot Awards. In April 2010, she won Best Emerging Photographer in the Australia’s Top Photographer’s Awards.

Europe — Sam Wong
Image from Sam Wong, RMIT Photography student's, Europe collection. During 8 weeks in Europe, in 2012, he photographed the street on a daily basis. From the East to the South, the photographs explored the mysterious connection between streetscapes and the ordinaries. These are a few of the prolific memories he gathered along his journey. These photos are also apart of a larger body of work, entitled "Falls & Texture".

Odysseus 2 by Adrian Foot, He began the Certificate/Diploma of Photoimaging, having decided to expand in the area of visual arts from a previous career in Graphic Design. He always wanted to get into Photography, so no longer would I put it off, RMIT was the logical outcome for me. The course gave him the freedom and encouragement to take any path he wished within the photographic industry.
