This hidden gem was taken by Gord C. at Sheppard’s Bush Conservation Area in Aurora, Ontario.    Tucked away just moments from Aurora’s downtown, Sheppard’s Bush Conservation Area is 26 hectares (65 acres) in size, and has over three kilometres of hiking trails and several historic buildings like our hidden gem, including a maple syrup evaporator hut.

"Pioneering Spirit"  Cr:Capturing The Night- Photography by Greg Gibbs  Wallaces Hut, Alpine National Park, Australia  Orion The Hunter with his 2 faithful dogs by his side watches over Taurus The Bull.  The Hut built in 1889 and is the oldest standing mountain hut of 106 in the Alpine National Park. Made from local timber as shelter for cattlemen who used to drive their herds up the mountains to graze on high country plains in summer, It's a great reminder of early pioneers in Australia.
