"Uniquely Human," as the subtitle says, provides a perspective on autism through the lens of neurodiversity, that people are as different in the way they think as they are in the way they look. (As such, it's a great companion to Steve Silbermann's "NeuroTribes," the other such book to appear in late 2015). The book contains not only advice, but wisdom for parents, teachers, caretakers, and anyone else involved with children with autism. We provide a review and summary here.
