A new variant of the next 𝐍𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐗-𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥 is on the way, offering an electric driving experience, despite being powered by petrol. Nissan is expected to borrow the hybrid X-Trail's powertrain from the Qashqai e-Power, which uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine as a generator for a small battery, which in turn feeds a 140kW/330Nm electric motor on the front axle.
