Antique and Vintage Tools for Sale

I collect tools but I'm only after tools that I can and will use. So I often buy a box but only want one or two. These tools are the ones that I'm passing on. To the best of my ability I've taken photos to give people a good idea of what is on offer. I've also added comments like "display only" for tools that are still valuable and good pieces but too degraded to be reasonably brought back into service.

Carving Snouts. Top one is the better of the two both in terms of its blade and that it has a handle $33. Bottom one has a rather pitted sole and of course missing its handle $18. See other photos.

Different style of smoothing gouge. Fully granked (sole 90 degrees to the shaft). I want to keep at least one of these. I'd say about $44ea. The ones in poorer (but still pretty reasonable) condition have makers marks while two in better condition are bare.

Handles of the smoothing gouges. From the top non cranked blade $44, Shiny one with a cranked blade and good makers mark ($44), non cranked blade with damaged handle ($25), Best of the bunch solid broad cranked blade with heavy duty handle ($55).

Show makers smoothing gouges of two different types (cranked and non-cranked). The left one is the best non-cranked ($44) the right one is the best cranked one ($55). The shiny one has a very good makers mark. Good collectors piece but pitted. Could be used but will need a fair bit of work. ($44) The one third from the bottom has damage to the handle and a bit more corrosion on the sole. Although probably not as bad as the shiny one before it was cleaned up ($25).

Auger Bits. Note the squared rod of the smaller auger with tapering cross section. Might just keep that one.
