Stargate

In 1994 the movie Stargate appeared on cinema screens across the world. In 1997, that film gave birth to a series of television shows that looked, at one point, to rival the phenomena that is Star Trek. Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, and Stargate Universe would go on to run, collectively from 1997 to 2011. In 2018, after a seven year hiatus, Stargate Origins aired as a web-series. Over 20 years old now, no one is certain of Stargate's future but many fans hope for a new series.
