I love to take an item or theme that can be seen in the photos and re-create that item or theme on the page as part of the paper-craft. You'll see I use this idea in many of my layouts. And why not? :) This one was the waterslide at Jamberoo.
Triangle mosaic title page. Because everyone loves a good mosaic every now and then!
Re-created the topiary from the photos in cardstock and pen work, to make the page borders. In the gardens of Villandry in the Loire Valley, France.
A window of photos against a decorated background.
Make a stained glass window, all of your own.
The astronomical clock in Prague. This was an amazing site. There is so much detail on the clock and I think I took at least one photo of everything. ;) I could have made 1/2 an album just with the photos of the clock, so I made a mosaic instead!
Title page using large letters cut out from photos of the Villandry garden (I had a LOT of photos!) From the Loire Valley in France.
I had many shots of the kids playing basketball and just putting them all on the page one after the other seemed a bit boring. But it was such a fun day and not boring at all. So I made a basketball out of the photos. Hand drawn and cut out with scissors.
