Piper has just been placed into soft release. She's such a beautiful little girl who spent several months at Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital after she and her mother were hit by a car. Unfortunately, her mother didn't survive but Piper is strong and healthy and we wish her a happy life in the wild!

Nunu was a young girl who came to us after the January storms. She was seen falling out of a tree and got stuck, wedged in the fork of a branch. She was bruised but otherwise fine so after a few weeks of observation, she was taken home.

Remember wet little Dexter? Look at him here with his foster brother Wally cuddled up behind him. They are both so big and healthy now, you can hardly guess how tiny they were when they first came into care. Both boys are in soft release now. Good luck boys!

Harold was a shy boy who stayed with us for a few months for conjunctivitis treatment. He was very sweet and we were happy to release him at his home in Tregeagle.

Alexander was a beautiful big boy rescued from Eureka with bad conjunctivitis. Even after nearly a months treatment with anti-biotics, his eye sight was still impaired due to cataracts. He was, however, able to see enough for him to be successfully released in June 2013.

Banjo had a very bad case of chlamydial cystitis and was in care for a longer than usual 4 months. We were so happy to see him released in Wyrallah and he has since been seen looking healthy in the surrounding area.

Tank only came in for a few days last week. He was a bit heat stressed and dehydrated so we fixed him up and he was good as gold! Except for when he bit Pat - then he was a naughty boy. He was an old fella (about 10 years old) and was found and released at Lismore High School in February 2014.

Damian was a sweet little 3 year old male that came into care after being found sitting on the side of the road. After being assessed by the vet, he was found to only have a cut under his chin and some bruising. We assume he was clipped by a car. He got lots of love and attention (and his favourite leaf, Forest Red Gum) and was soon released in his home of Coraki.

Pirate had conjunctivitis in his left eye when he was rescued, henceforth, his name. He was a nervous patient who talked to his carers a lot, giving little squeaks whenever he had company. He spent some time in care at AZWH before his release back home in Monaltrie.

Jason is from Federal and was in care for a few weeks. You can see his left eye has a cataract but his right eye is perfect! He was very grumpy and difficult to treat but we loved him anyway.
