Blackmores is done!!  I finished however I did miss 2 kms so only did 19km. I was in a world of hurt and walked a fair bit at the end but was very happy to average a 8:59 pace over the distance.  I missed the cutoff at 15km by only 3min so didn't do the Pyrmont leg but was still lucky enough to run over the finish line and get a medal.  I wasn't able to find any of the other Recruits as there wasn't a tent :(

Not fussed about my time I just don't want to get cut off and I want to finish the whole 21.1km run.  Running for Skins Recruits and Running Mums Australia and of course Runlab  who I've been training with over the last 9 weeks.   Time to put this body to the test and achieve what I set out to do!!

Got to the gym during my lunch break for a 5km on the treadmill.  Mixture of running and walking paces but got the job done!
