Kimchi Mushrooms and Cheddar Eggs
This might be my new favorite combo. I had a small container of kimchi to use up. So dumped into the frying pan with the mushrooms Cooked two sunny side up eggs, added a little bit of cheddar to the top cooking until just melted. Sprinkled with a little bagel seasoning. Such a good combo. For those who can’t get kimchi, just add in a little sriracha, garlic powder, tomato paste, water and spring onions to coat. Not quite the same flavours, but will work well. I know this is not everyone’s cup of tea for breakfast, but I never stick to typical breakfast foods. I find it much more enjoyable keeping foods varied as it never gets boring. I don’t let the time or day dictate what I eat. Great protein filling breakfasts
Sunday Breakfast Idea
Yummy Sunday breakfast this morning. 2 egg omelette, some air fried tomatoes, seasoned with salt and pepper and drizzled with a little spicy honey, air fried potatoes, I par boiled these last night, and then just threw in air fryer this morning with salt and pepper, garlic powder and a little paprika and air fried until golden. The streaky bacon is oven baked, I cook it on a rack over a tray so the fat drains beneath, we love crispy bacon and back bacon is not easy to get here in Canada. It’s a sunny day here in Ontario Canada (17 degrees) so think I’m going to go for a walk along by the lake today and then come back and do some food prep for the week. Easy Breakfast Idea
An easy breakfast for the whole family. My kids love this one too. Soften one onion, add the seasoning, cooked chopped up sausage (can also use bacon), can of baked beans simmer in pan until all heated through and top with a fried egg.
