Wallace's Hut, Alpine National Park. The Hut built in 1889 and is the oldest standing mountain hut of 106 in the Alpine National Park. Made from local timber as shelter for cattlemen who used to drive their herds up the mountains to graze on high country plains in summer.
Talbot Hut Ruins | In 1912 the government built a series of huts from Warburton to Walhalla to facilitate a long distance walking track to celebrate the railway arriving in Walhalla. Talbot hut named after Lord Talbot was one such hut. It was destroyed in fires.
