DIY Hand Scrub
Tip Tuesday - with only 6 weeks left to Christmas, we are going to be doing tips for Christmas. Today’s is a quick and easy hand scrub. It would make a lovely gift too. 1 cup of raw sugar. 1/4 cup of Olive oil. 10-15 drops of your favourite essential oil or a tablespoon of lemon zest. Mix well and keep in a sealed jar. If for a gift you can add a nice ribbon, bow or Christmas decoration . When using put a heaped teaspoon in your hands and rub all over your hands. When finished, run under warm water and pat dry. What to do with old Christmas cards.
Christmas Tip Tuesday - reusing Christmas cards. Make a new card - buy a card blank and cut out a section of an old card and paste on the blank. Make a gift card from an old card. Use a hole punch to make a hole and add string, ribbon to attach to a gift. Christmas Tip Tuesday Wrapping paper - most wrapping paper can’t be recycled or put in your compost but we will show you how to make your own wrapping that can be recycled or placed in your compost - BROWN PAPER. Buy a roll of brown paper, roll it out down your hallway and get your children or grandchildren to decorate it. Use paints, textas, coloured pencils or print with potatoes, fingers, hands or feet and paint.
